Who can benefit from Hemolung?
The Hemolung is expected to replace or supplement mechanical ventilation in the ICU in a broad range of patients suffering from acute respiratory failure, including:
- Emphysema
- Chronic Bronchitis
- Asthma with Status Asthmaticus
- Acute Respiratory Failure (ARF) and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS)
